Israeli agentic AI security operations company Torq has raised $140 million in a Series D round led by Merlin Ventures, with participation from all existing investors, including Evolution Equity Partners, Notable Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners, and Greenfield Partners. The investment brings the company's valuation to $1.2 billion. The company says the "new funds will accelerate the adoption of the Torq AI SOC Platform."
Mountain View, California-based AI security and governance company WitnessAI has raised $58 million in a funding round led by Sound Ventures, with participation from Fin Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Ventures, and Forgepoint Capital Partners. The company says the funding "will be used to accelerate WitnessAI's global go-to-market and product expansion."
Israeli offensive security company Novee has emerged from stealth with a total of $51.5 million raised across three funding rounds, beginning with an $8.5 million seed round in May 2025. The company then landed $33 million in Series A funding in September, and another $10 million in venture debt financing in December, SecurityWeek reports. The company's lead investors are YL Ventures, Canaan Partners, and Oren Zeev.
San Francisco-based software security platform provider depthfirst has raised $40 million in a Series A round led by Accel, with participation from Alt Capital, BoxGroup, Liquid 2 Ventures, Mantis VC, SV Angel, and angel investors. The company says the funding "will support the company's research and development, GTM efforts, and hiring across applied research, engineering, product, and sales."
New York-based disinformation defense platform provider Blackbird.AI has secured $28 million in strategic funding from Ten Eleven Ventures, Dorilton Ventures, Dave DeWalt, and Chris Young. The company focuses on tracking narrative-based disinformation campaigns targeting corporations and executives. Blackbird's CEO Wasim Khaled stated, "[W]e will accelerate our leadership position in the market to enable our customers to win against this new threat vector."
Arlington, Virginia-based supply-chain security firm Interos.ai has secured $20 million in funding from existing investors Blue Owl Capital and Structural Capital. Interos's CEO Ted Krantz told Technical.ly that the funding will let the company lean more into AI.
Boston-based content distribution network (CDN) orchestration company IO River has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Venture Guides and New Era, with participation from S Capital and private investors including Ofir Ehrlich and Pavel Gurvich.

Austin, Texas-headquartered CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Palo Alto, California-based identity access and management provider SGNL for $740 million, CNBC reports. The cybersecurity firm stated, "This acquisition will extend CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen Identity Security to deliver continuous, context-aware authorization for human, non-human, and AI agent identities across SaaS and hyperscaler cloud environments."
CrowdStrike has also agreed to acquire Israeli browser runtime security provider Seraphic for $420 million, SecurityWeek reports. CrowdStrike stated, "By integrating Seraphic’s browser-native protection with the Falcon platform’s vast endpoint telemetry and threat intelligence and SGNL’s continuous authorization technology, CrowdStrike will deliver a unified Next-Gen Identity Security strategy. This will create a seamless security fabric that protects every interaction from the endpoint, through the browser session, and into the cloud."
New Jersey-based ThreatModeler has acquired its largest competitor, Spanish threat modeling provider IriusRisk. The company stated, "The acquisition positions ThreatModeler as the global leader in threat modeling, trusted by Fortune 1000 companies across the financial services, pharmaceutical, technology, and critical industrial manufacturing industries in North America, EMEA, and Asia." Fortune reports that the deal is valued at over $100 million.
Colorado-based identity and access management provider JumpCloud has acquired Brazilian MSP MacSolution. The acquisition allows JumpCloud to establish a strategic go-to-market hub in São Paulo, and "brings in a highly skilled team with deep technical knowledge specific to JumpCloud."
New Jersey-based managed infrastructure solutions provider 11:11 Systems has completed its acquisition of Austin, Texas-based MSSP Ntirety. 11:11 CEO Brett Diamond stated, "11:11 has been actively working with many former [VMware Cloud Service Providers] to guarantee secure, compliant, high-performing cloud services and determine the best path forward for both their customers and their business. Ntirety has a strong global VMware business with incredible in-house expertise and amazing customers, and we are thrilled to welcome them to 11:11’s award-winning, resilient cloud platform."
Executive moves.
Coalfire has named Brad Little as its new CEO. Little previously served as Global Head of Professional Services for Google Cloud. Coalfire's former CEO, Tom McAndrew, will continue to serve as a board and senior advisor.
SecurityBridge has appointed Jesper Zerlang as CEO. Zerlang has served as chairman of the company's board for the past twelve months. SecurityBridge's founders Christoph Nagy and Ivan Mans will transition out of their roles as CEO and CTO, respectively, and will "remain strategically central to the business in pivotal roles focused on product evangelism and high-impact, customer-driven initiatives."
Everfox has appointed Dave Wajsgras as Chairman and CEO. Wajsgras succeeds Sean Berg, who will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity. Wajsgras most recently served as CEO of Intelsat.
1Password has appointed Nancy Wang as Chief Technology Officer to lead the company's AI strategy. Wang previously served as General Manager and Director of Engineering and Product for AWS's Data Protection business.
RunSafe Security has hired Bob Lyle as Chief Revenue Officer. Lyle previously served as CRO at Medcrypt.
Zscaler has named Dr. Swamy Kocherlakota as Executive Vice President of Agentic AI Security Engineering. Kocherlakota previously served as CIO and Head of Digital Solutions at S&P Global.
Halcyon has hired Ryan Schultz as Chief Customer Officer.
RSA has named Ryan Toben as Chief Customer Officer. Toben most recently served as SVP of Customer Success & Account Management at Cabrio.
Portnox has appointed Kristen Knight as Vice President of Channel Sales to lead the company's newly launched global channel partner program. Knight has previously held senior leadership roles at Barracuda and Mimecast.
